This privacy policy applies to the services of Airline Technical Support B.V. (hereinafter: ATS). By visiting and using the functionalities of this website and/or submitting any personal data to us,  you will be deemed to have read and accepted this privacy policy.

ATS is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our website and/or submits any personal data to us, and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. On this page we inform you what information we collect when you visit our website, and why we collect this information.

Processing of personal data takes place in such a way that it complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all other applicable legislation. 

Your personal data will be processed by us only for the purposes for which it was submitted: the recruitment division of ATS, which specializes in the recruitment and placement of aircraft maintenance and aviation professionals, will only use your personal data for recruitment and placement purposes (as well ass the management and execution of the associated administration and invoicing); the e-learning division of ATS only for training purposes (as well as the management and execution of the associated administration and invoicing); the maintenance support and technical advisory division only for commercial/contracting purposes (as well as the management and execution of the associated administration and invoicing), all this in the broadest sense.   

This privacy policy does not apply to websites of third parties that can be visited via this website via links. ATS is not responsible for the processing of personal data by the organizations that offer these websites. Please read the privacy policy, if present, of the relevant website.

Processing and storage of collected data

If you send us an e-mail, or if you fill in the contact or registration form on the website,  the data contained therein will be kept for an indefinite period. 

For recruitment and placement purposes we will only collect and process personal data such as your email address, name, address, telephone number, education and work history or any other information that may be contained within your CV or resumé or social media. As we retain information regarding candidates and recruitment and placement activities for the duration of individuals’ career, also this data will be kept for an indefinite period.

When you sign up for one of our E-learning modules, we ask you to provide certain personal information. This data is used to the extent that this is necessary for the execution of the agreement with you as a user of the E-learning online learning environment. We also store information about the learning process in a personal file (for example, the E-learning modules followed and the results of the exams) and the learning history so that it is clear which courses have been followed and so that certificates obtained can be downloaded. The personal file is stored and kept for an indefinite period. 

The data is stored on secure ATS’ servers. We will not combine this information with other personal information we have.

In addition, a trusted and GDPR-compliant third party (BenMade),  as external administrator makes a monthly backup of the system (without email, contact or registration form data) which backup is stored on an encrypted hard disk for 3 months at a remote location within the EU.


Cookies

We collect data for research in order to gain a better insight into our customers, so that we can tailor our services accordingly.

This website uses "cookies" (text files placed on your computer) to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website can be transferred to secure ATS servers or those of a third party. We use this information to keep track of how you use the website, to compile reports on website activity and to offer other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

Purposes of processing of collected data

As a specialist recruitment company ATS gathers and analyses information on individuals within this market worldwide.  We do so as we have a legitimate interest in this field and this is a business necessity to be able to conduct our business.

We do not collect or use information for purposes other than the specific purposes described in this privacy policy unless we have obtained your consent in advance.


Access to personal data by employees of ATS

Only a select number of employees/consultants within ATS are authorized to view personal data if this is necessary for the provision of our services. These employees/consultants are bound to confidentiality by their employment/consultancy contracts. No employee/consultant has access to your password.


Access to personal data by third parties

Your personal information will not be shared with third parties, however we may from time to time be required to pass on your personal information to third parties, but only as part of the recruitment and placement process. 

View, edit, correction, right of opposition and right to be forgotten

After written request you have the opportunity to view your personal data. If the overview provided by us contains inaccuracies, you can request us to change or supplement the data by contacting us via the contact details at the bottom of this privacy policy. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and to have your personal data irrevocably removed.

Amending the privacy policy

This privacy policy is tailored to the use of and the possibilities on this site. Any changes to this website may lead to changes to this privacy policy. We therefore reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. Our website always displays the most recent privacy policy. The version and last revision date of this privacy policy are indicated at the top of the document.
